The Team
The DARKROOM Crew is comprised of Dave Gee, Trigon, and Diggadee MC. This Brooklyn-based trio has been making a lot of noise over the last few years in the US Dubstep scene. Known as tastemakers in the New York area, they’ve brought many international acts to NYC for their debut performances including Borgore, 16bit, Stenchman, MRK1, Virus Syndicate, Bare, Reso, PropaTingz, DZ, and dozens of others.
Between the 3 members, they’ve got over 30 years experience in the electronic music industry and have played all over the US, including several showcases at SXSW, WMC, and Starscape. Dave owns Methods Clothing, which has become a staple in the US Dubstep Community. Trigon runs the Profound Audio record label, which is quickly becoming a major contender in the bass music market. Dave Gee and Diggadee MC are the first nationally booked Dubstep DJ/MC combo from the US. They release mixes and perform under the moniker, Heavy Weight Division.
With the recent release of their Murda Style EP, which features remixes from MRK1, Von D, and Codes; they continue to push boundaries with a slew of upcoming productions and collaborations. DARKROOM, which has become known as Brooklyn’s Official Dubstep monthly event will celebrate its 3 Year Anniversary in May. Keep a look out for many more releases from the crew this year.
Dave Gee’s name has become synonymous with NYC Dubstep over the last few years. He is responsible for founding DARKROOM, Brooklyn’s official Dubstep monthly, which celebrates it’s 3 year anniversary in May 2012. Dave also owns and operates Methods Clothing, a staple in the US Dubstep community. He’s played all over the US, including showcases at SXSW, WMC, and STARSCAPE. His first official EP, Murda Style was just released on Profound Audio. With a heavy DJ schedule on top of the productions he has in the works, Dave Gee is set to be a major player in 2012.

Trigon has been representing bass music for over a decade and has rocked crowds internationally with his high-energy, quick mixing delivery style of cutting edge Dubstep and Drum & Bass. He co-produces and holds down a residency at Darkroom, New York’s prestigious Dubstep institution. Trigon is also the label head and founder of the Profound Audio record label, which is currently releasing high quality bass music from some of the best producers in the game. Keeping a busy production schedule in the studio himself, Trigon recently released his debut EP entitled “Murda Style” which received heavy club support from A-list DJs as well as radio play on BBC Radio 1xtra, RinseFM, etc. Pushing forward into 2012 with massive collaborations in the works, Trigon is showing no signs of slowing down…

Diggadee MC Has launched from the world of Drum n’ Bass and landed on planet Dubstep. Although Dnb will always be the main ingredient on Diggadee’s menu, the Dubstep movement brings a more expansive range of musical awareness. Performing with many of the biggest names in Drum n’ Bass from around the world, Diggadee has also managed to work with the biggest names in Dubstep as well i.e. Skream, Benga, Borgore, Datsik & 12th Planet; to name a few. As the two genre’s seem to intertwine, the ability to vibe and adapt is necessary in an ever changing music scene. MC Diggadee, Diggadee MC…the spaceship has landed.
